Press the ALT key while dragging items over the Rename List, to clear the current items first.



Double-click or press the DEL key on an item in Rename List to remove it from the list.



Double-click on a formatting parameter in any Formatting Editor, to show its configuration window.



Right-click on a formatting parameter in any Formatting Editor, to select it.



If "[Error]" is displayed in a Rename List cell, you can right-click on the cell and select Show Error to view error details.



You can sort search results of the FreeDB Filter by clicking on column headers in the search results window.



You can refresh the items in the Rename List by pressing the F5 key.



You can add or remove columns from the Rename List and perform many other column-related operations, by right clicking on Rename List column headers.



You can drag and drop Rename List Items or use press the Ctrl-Up & Ctrl-Down keys to move Rename List items.



Manually moving items in Rename List will cancel Auto-sort.



Press the F4 key or right click on a Rename List Item and select Locate to locate this item in the File Explorer.



Press the ALT-Enter key or right click on a Rename List Item and select Properties to show Windows Property Sheet for this item.



You can manually rename any writeable field in Rename List by pressing the F2 key on the cell you want to change.



If you manually rename a preview cell in Rename List, the value you input will override changes made to this field by filters.



If you manually rename a non-preview cell in Rename List, the value you input will be overriden by filters.



Press the F2 key on a file in the File Explorer to rename it.



You can add items to the Rename List by dragging files and folders from other programs, like Windows Explorer.



You can drag any Rename List cell or file from File Explorer, to text-boxes in filter configuration panel.



Double click on any filter in Applied Filters List to show change it's name and general filter options. You can also press the F2 key on a filter to change it's name.



If the Auto-preview of the Rename List slows you down, you can disable it by clicking on the Preview button in the left Rename List tool-bar.



You can prepare a text file with new file names and use for renaming by using the Free Names Edit feature.



The FreeDB Setter Filter allows you to use data from freedb.org online music database to set names and tags for MP3 files that form a whole album.



You can apply most filters on any field, and not just on the file name field by selecting filter apply target from Filter Options window.



The Preview Errors panel in the Status Bar is displayed in red color if any preview error occurred.



You can use Windows Task Scheduler to invoke MFR Console Mode Application anytime.



You can invoke MFR from Windows Explorer by right clicking on files and folders.
