Formatting Tokens

Formatting tokens let you build names from a pattern in filters that support the Format Editor (for example Formatter). A format string mixes constant text with tokens of the form <name> or <name:param1,param2,…>.

Groups match the Format Editor insert catalog. Token names are the angle-bracket names.

Which Date Taken token?

Four Date Taken tokens. Start with <exif-date:yyyy-MM-dd> for shot date.

• <exif-date:yyyy-MM-dd> - shot date
• <image-date-taken> - Image Tag Date Taken (JPEG only)
• <xmp-datetaken:yyyy-MM-dd> - XMP Date Taken
• <png-datetaken:yyyy-MM-dd> - PNG Date Taken
