MFR supports a variety of formatting parameters, that allow you to format names using a pattern, in filters that support formatting.

Select a group to list the formatting parameters in it:

File Name Group

File Properties Group

Image Properties Group
EXIF Group
Nearby Location Group	Extracts nearby place name from location information in JPEG file's EXIF tag. See available fields at Rename List Fields reference.
Image Tag Group	Extracts various information from image file tag. See available tag fields and supported formats at Rename List Fields reference.

Media Group

Audio

ID3 Group
MP3 Group
FreeDB Group	Provides track information from the FreeDB.org database. Set from FreeDB filter should be placed before in the rename list prior to the formatter filter in order to extract information from FreeDB database.
