Tools → Reset Configuration deletes the AppData preferences file
(config.json), skips writing session on close, and restarts the app.
Named presets and local rename logs are kept.
After reset, options, window layout, File List session bits, and per-filter add defaults
return to first-launch values.
If MFR 7 user data is still present under
%ProgramData%\FineBytes\MFR\, the next launch can show the
Import from MFR 7 offer again (the preferences
flag that suppresses it is cleared with config.json).
